Not everyone graduates from college; doing so is a huge deal because its an incredibly difficult journey. Its expensive, takes a long time, and requires a lot of dedication. And there never seems to be any rest from what other people expect of you. In fact, its sometimes easier to feel smothered by your responsibilities than it is to feel in control. Fortunately, being in college means that you have both the desire and ability to figure out how to make things work—even if you dont feel like you can. Take a deep breath, start simply, and create a plan. Take Half an Hour First, block off 30 minutes from your schedule. It can be right now, or it can be in a few hours. The longer you wait, of course, the longer youll feel stressed and overwhelmed. The sooner you can make a 30-minute appointment with yourself, the better. Once youve reserved yourself for 30 minutes, set a timer (try using the alarm on your smartphone) and use your time as follows. Create a Plan Five minutes: Grab a pen or use your computer, tablet, or smartphone and make lists of what you have to do. And while this may sound easy, theres one catch: Instead of making a long, running list, divide it up by sections. For example, ask yourself: What do I need to do for my Chem 420 class?What do I need to do as a club vice-chair?What do I need to do for my financial paperwork? In this text, I will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of different types of music depending on different situations faced by the teenagers. And also about how â€Å"Music† can really help to overcome many problems faced in our daily lives. My main aim of blogging this topic down is so that all the young people around the globe can read it and also relate it with their routine. Today that â€Å"Click† sound has been modified into much more intense and complex combinations of different sounds forming different genres of music which we all love to hear. I myself am a national level tennis player and music is really playing a major role in my tennis career. Music is a driving force for me and motivates me to push harder than what I can actually do. A simple challenge which we all face in our daily routine is waking up early in the morning. Whether to dress up early, go to school or for tuitions or anything else, this will always remain a challenge for the teens. I am having a fixed schedule since last 8 years of waking up in the morning at 5 am. Music has helped me a lot in following this routine consistently. Every day in the morning after the alarm rings I take my IPod and earphones out and start listening to â€Å"Slow† songs followed by â€Å"Rock† songs so that my body slowly transforms into an energetic mood to play tennis. It may sound interesting but before my tennis matches I loved to listen to â€Å"Patriotic† songs. I am not the only one who loves to listen to music early in the morning. Disco is a style of music that became famous in late 1970’s and is played in the Discs and Clubs. Disco music is also called Funk. Hip hop, Rock, and Electro are music styles that consists of a stylized rhythmic music accompanied with rapping. Rapping is a rhyming and a rhythmic speech that is sung at a faster pace but in the same tempo of the song that is being played. Hip hop, Rock, and Electro has 4 key stylistic elements; DJing, rapping, break danc ing and graffiti writing. And Dub Step which was  originated in late 1990’s in London is almost same as rapping but it also includes Trance. These all music styles, as their name suggest, transmit an energy which motivates us to step on the dance floor and dance our heart out. These all forms, as we know, are so â€Å"Heavy† that they literally make you stand up if you are sitting, dance more energeticly if you are a bit lazy on the floor, and make you feel high when you are completely low. It is clearly visible how â€Å" Heavy Music† changes our mood and we react accordingly. As mentioned earlier Music truely conveys a message which directly affect our behaviour and mood. Music has become a need for most of the teens now. Coming to statistics, teenagers listen to an average of 2.5 hours of music a day and studies also prove that an average of 9 out of 10 teenagers have the access to MP3 players, compact music players or Ipods. I totally agree to this point as I myself have many friends who are literally â€Å"Music Lovers†. It is as if music has become a part of their body without which they cannot live. They want music every where, whether they are travelling, studying, sleeping, or even when they are taking bath. Considering the â €Å"Love Birds† I would like to know where were the Romantic songs invented? Leave alone where, but why were these invented and why do we listen to them? The answer is as simple as rolling off a log. Either people listen to it so that they can connect with the slow romantic songs, especially with their lyrics and let the feelings inside them flow out with the lyrics of the songs. Teens dedicate these songs to their love ones so that whoever the song is dedicated to understands the purpose and message that is being passed through the lyrics and beats of that song. The same thing implies when the soldiers listen to â€Å"Patriotic† songs before they step in the warzone. These Patriotic songs too emit a spark which pushes them to sacrifice everything they have, for their country. Music truly has the energy to transform a person’s soul into something he wishes to according to his mood by simply listening to a specific genre of music. Therefore we can see what makes us choose the different types of music that we prefer to listen every single day. It is of course the situation and environment we want to create around ourselves. And no one seems to fully understand what to do, what to say and how to react when death occurs in the family or in the family in one’s circle of friends. It seems that man can’t really understand why it happens. At least not when it is someone one cares about. But it happens, and there is nothing else to do about it, than survive and move on with one’s life. This is the subject treated in Robin Blacks shortstory â€Å"†¦ Divorced, Beheaded, Survived† (2010). The shortstory is the story of a woman who loses her big brother, Terry, to sickness at a very young age. It is also a story about how her brother and she used to play with the other children who lived close by, and how they stopped playing after Terry died. The main character also describes how she tries to protect her children from this awful phenomenon that death is, but how she is unable to do so as her son’s friend dies in the end. The main character who acts as a past tense narrator, does not tell much about herself. To be clear she does not describe many of the characters at all. The fact that there are very few adjectives and adverbs shows the reader that one must use ones imagination, the characters are not important for they could be anyone in such a neighborhood. The reader relates to the story in a different way than they normally would, because they have to use their own experiences to fill out the missing pieces of the personalities of the characters. The person the narrator tells about the most, is Terry or Terrance as he is actually called. The narrator describes how he plays Anne Boleyn with much character and liveliness. It might as well have been one of the other kids, as well as it could have been one of the other kids who could have played the role. This is shown in the part of the story where Anne Boleyn dies, and Terry has to play the dying woman. Anne Boleyn loses her head and life, Terry loses his life and the narrator loses her brother, her friends and a part of her childhood. At this point it is only the first part of the rhyme that is used. Page 3, line 43 â€Å"Divorced, beheaded, died. † But as the children move on with their lives, learn to live with the loss of a friend and a brother, and some of them meet again even though they do not talk, the rest of the rhyme appears in their life. And this time it holds a whole new meaning. Page 6, line 174 â€Å"Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. † The structure of the text is a bit messy but it still manages to give the reader a good and continuous view of the narrator’s life. The fact that the first 1,5 pages focuses on her childhood with the games and her brother, gives the reader a strong sense that it is a chapter of her life that ended when her brother died. But as she continuously mentions her brother, one also understands that her brother is still with her, even though he belongs to an ended chapter. And as she moves on with her life, and survives, she keeps him with her in a more secure way and without getting scared of forgetting about him. The Land is heard calling out for her first born the indigenous Australians, and the poet describes that the light of their being barely aglow? which is a metaphor that suggests the vitality of the indigenous Australians are diminished and there is little hope in their future. Presenting her warnings about love and her doubts that she will ever find happiness, Rossetti treats the theme of love as a challenge as she states that if you are able to find love on earth, you are lucky and therefore able to enjoy your time on earth. However if like Rossetti you are unable to find your perfect partner, you may resolve into finding your faith in God as inevitably no one will ever match up to him and he is responsible for our happiness whether we find it on earth or by death.
